Koilighugar Waterfall
One of the most scenic natural attractions in the Jharsuguda district, Koilighugar Waterfall is surrounded by lush greenery and rocky terrain. A Shiva shrine is located near the waterfall, making the destination a combination of natural beauty and religious significance. It is particularly attractive during and after the monsoon season.
Hirakud Dam
The longest earthen dam in the world, holding a reservoir made for scenic drives, boating and panoramic sunset views from the Gandhi Minar and Nehru Minar watchtowers. At sixty-five kilometres out it is a half-day from the resort, and the two minars are what most visitors make the trip for.
