Privacy Policy

What we collect, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Please notethis policy is being finalised. The terms that govern your stay are the ones set out on your booking confirmation and supplied by the property. Where the two differ, your confirmation prevails.

What this covers

This policy covers mayfairhotels.com and the enquiry and booking journeys that begin on it. Information you give a property directly — at the desk, over the telephone, or through a travel agent — is handled by that property under the same standards, but this page describes the website.

What we collect

Only what a booking or an enquiry actually requires, and nothing gathered for its own sake.

  • Booking and enquiry details: your name, contact details, dates, party size and any requests or requirements you choose to tell us
  • Correspondence: the content of emails and enquiry forms you send us, so the reply has the question in front of it
  • Careers applications: the CV and covering note you send, held for consideration for current and future openings
  • Technical data: the pages requested and basic device information, used to keep the site working and secure

Payments

Card details are not collected, processed or stored by this website. Payment is handled by the property or by a regulated payment provider at the point of booking, and the card number never reaches these pages.

How we use it

To answer your enquiry, to make and honour your booking, to tell you what you need to know before you arrive, and to meet the record-keeping obligations a hotel has under Indian law.

Marketing email is sent only to people who have asked for it, and every such message carries a working unsubscribe. Choosing not to receive marketing never affects a booking.

Who we share it with

The property you are staying at, so that it can look after you. Service providers who operate parts of this site and our email on our behalf, under contract and only for that purpose. And any authority we are legally required to disclose to.

Your personal information is not sold, and is not shared with third parties for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

Booking records are kept for as long as the law requires a hotel to keep them, and for as long as they may be needed to resolve a dispute about a stay. Enquiries that do not become bookings, and unsuccessful job applications, are kept for a limited period and then deleted.

Your rights

You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted where we are not required to keep it, and withdraw consent to marketing at any time.

Write to privacy@mayfairhotels.com and the request will be acted on. If you are not satisfied with how it was handled, you may raise the matter with the relevant data protection authority.

Cookies

This site uses only what it needs to function and to stay secure. It does not run advertising trackers, and it does not build a profile of you across other websites.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version is published on this page. Material changes affecting an existing booking will be communicated directly rather than left to be discovered here.
